Summary

In a world where a mysterious power called “Rune Arts” exists, a boy named Ban is born with the most cursed rune in history — the Rune of Asura. The Rune of Asura holds only one ability: it inevitably brings about destruction. Targeted for this power, Ban is attacked by a mysterious sorcerer and loses those he holds dear. He is then trapped in an isolated subspace, completely cut off from the real world. Drowning in the swamp of despair known as fate, he longs for death, yet his boiling rage will not allow it. For 999 long years, he endures, sharpening the blade of his vengeance. At last, Ban awakens the true destructive power of the Rune of Asura, shattering the subspace and returning to the real world.
