Heropie

Summary

There she was... a bird soaring through white space. She peered down into the world. It was so small-so naive. After spotting her perfect dinner, she carefully planned her dive. She squinted, then reminded herself to "trust the process", before turning and plummeting towards the ground below. She inched closer and closer until-BANG! She smashed into the window. I look down to see her lying on the ground. Our eyes meet, our souls connect, and without blinking, I say: "Same."
