Summary

Description :With a baby in her arms, Marian finally arrives at Bellfield Hall. There are terrible rumors about the master of the mansion, Heywood Denshaw. They say that, as the despot of the town, he snatched the manor and the mill away from the person who was supposed to inherit them. When she finally arrives, the master and housekeeper come out together. Marian is captivated by his eyes-they're as cold as the winter sky. Yet Marian must somehow get him to give her a job!
